In August 2021, Barwood Land entered into a promotion agreement in relation to a c 35 acre parcel of land to the north of Hilperton on the outskirts of Trowbridge in Wiltshire. The site wraps around the existing Hilperton recreation ground, village hall and allotments with potential access to the north and the south.
The site is being promoted for primarily residential development in the emerging Local Development Plan which is being prepared by Wiltshire Council. It is currently identified as part of a larger allocation for up to c. 600 dwellings. In parallel to this, an outline planning application is being prepared which will be submitted in 2025.
