Blake’s Meadows, Wembdon
Barwood Land entered into a promotion agreement on land to the north of the village of Wembdon in 2022. The land, which is located north of Wembdon Hill and Sandford Hill, extends to c. 42.8 hectares. The site will be promoted for primarily residential development in the emerging Somerset Local Development Plan which is being prepared by Somerset Council and is due for adoption in 2029. Initial technical work is underway and a vision document to aid the promotion has been prepared. This document was submitted to the Council as part of the Call for Sites process 2025.
