Land West of Stoney Stanton

We are working in a consortium with Parker Strategic Land and Leicestershire County Council (LCC) to promote the 340ha of land to the west of the village of Stoney Stanton in Leicestershire and east of the M69, as a potential new settlement for circa 5,000 homes which will include schools, community facilities, infrastructure, public open spaces and new employment spaces.

The site sits within Blaby District Council and benefits from a reference within the Council’s Regulation 18 Local Plan consultation in January 2021, with BDC continuing to support a growth strategy focussed on delivery of large-scale urban extensions to meet their housing requirement.

We are engaging in an active and ongoing programme of consultation with the Council, Parish Council and local community since October 2021 which includes evolving the vision for the new settlement to create a development which benefits both new and existing residents, alongside promotion of the site through the preparation of the Local Plan.
